The decadent music venue plays host to AEGEON Masters Tennis this December

-- /EPR NETWORK/ -- It's been a busy autumn/winter for the Royal Albert Hall. Off the back of recovery from the Proms 2012, the Victorian concert hall welcomes the Best of Broadway in mid-November, before having to clear its stages and construct a tennis court for the AEGEON Masters Tennis.

This fun-loving event is the toast of the ATP Champions' Tour an event which brings back tennis' favourite blasts from the past, and pits them against each other in pretty settings.

And what could be pretty than this Kensington classical music establishment? With tickets in the sumptuous round arena starting at £9 and reaching up to £97.50, it presents a great opportunity for a spontaneous, good value day out; or a well-planned and lavish treat, right up close and courtside with some of the sport's most treasured stars.

Running from December 5th until December 9th, it's a fun and competitive tournament. Last year John McEnroe won in the final against Pat Cash, proving that the fiery American still has plenty left in the tank.

Tennis fans and Christmas shoppers looking to make a weekend of it this December should make the most of the new widget Hotel Map which provides a better way to find your perfect London hotels, dealing directly with the hotels themselves, and finding huge discounts and deals.

Kensington is a busy hotel area, and in the first week of December, bargains must be snapped up as soon as possible. HotelMap has discounts of 68% on The Vanderbilt, a Radisson Blu Edwardian hotel on Cromwell Road, a short walk from the Hall, from £126 for a double room during the tennis.

A few minutes further south, located close to Gloucester Road tube and in a prime location to explore the SW7 museums too, is the Millennium Gloucester, a 4* property that HotelMap can guarantee 72% discounts on: a double room for £115 on 5 th December for the days following.
