-- /EPR NETWORK/ -- The new play from Polly Stenham, No Quarter, will open at the Royal Court Theatre on January 11th. The cast includes Maureen Beattie, Alexa Davies, Tom Sturridge and Zoe Boyle, known to Downton Abbey fans as Lavinia Swire. Jeremy Herrin, who directed Stenham's previous two plays, will helm the production.

Described as ‘an anarchic twist on the drawing room drama', the play tells the story of Robin (Tom Sturridge), who returns to the isolated family home, jaded with his new life. A battle over his family estate ensues, and Robin finds solace in his music.

The production marks something of a homecoming for Stenham, whose debut play, That Face , premiered at the Royal Court in 2007. She was just 19 at the time, and the play's subsequent transfer to the Duke of York's made her the West End's youngest playwright since Christopher Hampton's 1966 production When Did You Last See My Mother?

No Quarter will run at the Royal Court from January 11th until February 9th. Shows run from Monday to Saturday at 7.45pm, with Thursday and Saturday matinees opening at 3.30pm. Tickets cost £10 on Mondays and £20 through the week, with concessions available for £15.

For the duration of the run, a number of London hotels close to the theatre are offering discounted rates. The offers are exclusively available from website LondonTown.com.
