The much-loved musical comedy returns to the London stage to celebrate its 40th anniversary

-- /EPR NETWORK/ -- The world's favourite comedy musical returns to the city which first spawned it this year, to celebrate its 40th anniversary in rocky and raucous fashion…

The Rocky Horror Show, created by Richard O'Brien, first debuted at the Royal Court Theatre in 1973, and ran for almost 3,000 performances before closing in 1980. A film and countless on-stage revivals later, the show is now back to celebrate its birthday with the 40 th Anniversary Tour.

The big bash will be kicked off at the New Wimbledon Theatre, running from January 21st -26th. Directed by Christopher Luscombe, it stars X Factor's Rhydian as Rocky Horror, and Emmerdale's Roxanne Pallett as mousy Janet, one half of the sweet couple who get caught in a storm and end up in Rocky's house of horrors.

Featuring classic favourites like ‘Damn It, Janet' and ‘Time Warp', the show is sure to strike the right note with fans young and old. For those looking to make a special journey up to London for the event, check out LondonTown.com.
