Discounted hotels in London announced by website to coincide with Soho run

-- /EPR NETWORK/ -- Harold Pinter's 1971 play 'Old Times' is to be performed at the London theatre recently renamed in honour of the Nobel Laureate. The play will run at the Harold Pinter Theatre – formerly the Comedy Theatre – from January 12th until April 6th.

Starring Rufus Sewell, Kristin Scott Thomas and Lia Williams, the playwright's classic three-hander tells the tale of a married couple being visited at their remote farmhouse by an old friend. As they reminisce about their titular formative years in London, twenty-year-old sexual tensions are unleashed once more. In an unusual twist, the production sees the two female leads alternate roles, causing further confusion for Sewell's Deeley, and the audience themselves.

First performed by a Peter Hall-directed RSC at the Aldwych Theatre in London in 1971, the play eventually went to Broadway, and has been translated into German. The new production is directed by Ian Rickson. Tickets range from £10-£49.50 and are available through LondonTown.com. The site is also offering reduced rates on hotels in London close to the Harold Pinter Theatre in Soho.
