Toronto, ON, -- /EPR NETWORK/ -- Park Hyatt Toronto is pleased to announce the appointment of Bonnie Strome as General Manager of the 336-room luxury hotel in the city’s Yorkville district. Bonnie brings over 17 years of leadership experience in the hotel industry to her new role at Park Hyatt Toronto. Prior to her recent promotion, Bonnie served as general manager at Park Hyatt’s sister property, the Hyatt Regency Toronto. Prior to that, she held the position of Director of Rooms at Park Hyatt Toronto.

From brand conversions and hotel renovation projects, to managing rooms operating budgets and being the ‘architect’ responsible for enhancing the overall guest experience, Bonnie’s experience has equipped her with a thorough understanding of hotel operations and the luxury hotel and spa market. “Bonnie and I have worked together for 8 years,” says former General Manager Paul Verciglio, “I cannot think of a better person to carry on the values that the Park Hyatt hotel has established in Toronto.”

Bonnie has spent much of her Hyatt career working with the Rooms and Spa Division. As the Park Hyatt Toronto’s former Director of Rooms she managed the recent soft renovations throughout the hotel and Stillwater Spa, rated among the top spas in Toronto. While architecture and product enhancements are of the utmost importance, Bonnie has always believed that the hotel – home to a traveler for a night or a week - must have a soul. She functions from the thought that hotel guests should not only feel welcome, but that their next request is anticipated long before it is spoken. Her formula over the years has been quite simple: the perfect pairing of skill and passion yields great results.
