The Teenage Cancer Trust concerts return to the Royal Albert Hall this spring

-- /EPR NETWORK/ -- Music fans looking to see some musical legends in action and put their cash towards a good cause will be delighted to hear of the return of the Teenage Cancer Trust annual series of concerts.

Back at the Royal Albert Hall in London's Kensington district, this spring the opulent Victorian venue will host six wondrous nights of music and a star-studded comedy evening.

For 2013 Teenage Cancer Trust patron Roger Daltrey (formerly on The Who) has invited another musician to handpick the roster - for the first time in the concerts' history.

Daltrey, currently on tour with The Who in the USA, and has therefore bestowed responsibility to the former Oasis guitarist and singer Noel Gallagher, who has certainly risen to the occasion.

Kicking off the week-long bonanza is American singer-songwriter Ryan Adams with special guest Beth Orton, whose cover version of Gallagher's Wonderwall is arguably better than the original, followed by a night of stand-up with Russell Brand, Noel Fielding and a cluster of other top comedians.

Fans of Britpop will enjoy a special Saturday night Oasis-verses-Blur-style concert that sees Gallagher perform on the same stage as special guests Damon Albarn and Graham Coxon, as well as Super Furry Animals frontman Gruff Rhys.

Look out for Primal Scream, Echo and the Bunnymen and Rizzle Kicks too. Those coming up and looking for London hotels to make their stay should turn to LondonTown.com.
