The multi-platinum selling quartet have won two BRIT Awards, including the coveted Album of the Year for 'Sigh No More' in 2011, two Grammys and claimed the sixth biggest selling album of 2012 with 'Babel'. Recently howeverthey have had to cancel gigs in the US due to bassist Ted Dwayne undergoing emergency surgery to remove a blood clot. With Dwayne now on the road to a full recovery, the band is expected to be all set for the London concert in July.

Mumford and Sons will also be joined by a host of other stars, each of which have been hand selected by the foursome. The line-up is made up ofVampire Weekend, Ben Howard, Edward Sharpe &The Magnetic Zeros, and HAIM.

Currently on his own world tour, the ambivalent Ben Howard was also in London earlier this month, performing two nights at the HammersmithApollo. Having won two BRITS Awards in 2013 British Male Solo Artist and British Breakthrough Act and sold half a million copies of his debut album 'Every Kingdom', Howard is gradually moving towards stardom. Taking inspiration from the likes of Van Morrison, Joni Mitchell and Simon and Garfunkel, he renews the world of acoustic folk music and will be promoting his most recent EP, 'The Burgh Island'.

Also rising to the top of the music industry is HAIM, a trio of sisters from California. With their music described as 'nu-folk meets nineties R&B', they supported both Mumford and Sons and Edward Sharpe &The Magnetic Zeros in 2012. Since then they have toured the UK in their own right, topped the annual BBC Radio 1 Sound of 2013 music industry poll and appeared at London's Chime for Change concert. The audience can expect HAIM to perform popular tracks 'Falling', 'Send Me Down' and 'Don't Save Me'.
