Discounted hotels in London announced for Wembley leg of global tour

-- /EPR NETWORK/ -- This August, a new, thrillingly ambitious production of Peter Pan is coming to London as part of a worldwide arena tour. JM Barrie's children's classic is directed by Luc Petit, and is one of the more extravagant interpretations of the book, featuring pop and rock songs interwoven throughout the familiar plot. It will run at Wembley Arena from August 21-26.

This staging of 'Peter Pan: The Neverending Story' is the work of Belgian production company Music Hall's Geert Allaert. As artistic director, Allaert has realised an appropriately fantastical vision of Neverland using CGI mapping to create a backdrop of cinematic quality.

The 50-strong cast of actors, singers, acrobats and stunt artists soar through the air using wind turbines and bungees, eliminating the need for unsightly harnesses. The choreography is the work of Petit and Martino Muller, who has previously designed moves for Cirque du Soleil.

The £10 million production includes music to match the spectacle on stage. Musical director Matt Dunkley - who has written scores for Moulin Rouge, Love Actually and The Pirates of the Carribean – has adapted and arranged songs by Duran Duran, Robbie Williams and Rod Stewart.

Tickets for the show range from £20-£45. Evening shows commence at 7pm, with two matinees at 3pm on August 24th , 25th and 26th. An additional 11am show will take place on August 25th. To book tickets, and for further information, visit LondonTown.com.
