2022October 25, 2013, 5:45 am -- /EPR NETWORK/ -- Blood cancer charity raise over £200,000 each Christmas to aid its life saving work beating blood cancers.
Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research's online charity shop have just launched their new range for Christmas 2013. Featuring products from local British businesses as well as a number of ethically or sustainably sourced products, the online charity shop is committed to trading in as responsible and ethical a way as possible.
One such range is the Christmas textile selection from up-and-coming British designer Victoria Eggs. Both the apron and tea towel feature all the favourite foods in a traditional Christmas dinner in an iconic typographic design. Designed and manufactured in the UK the products are not only high quality but also help support the local economy.
Each year the shop raises over £200,000 to help fund their lifesaving work beating blood cancers. Last year, thanks to an extensive redesign this increased to over £300,000.
The changes meant that the shopping experience was vastly improved. Professional stylists and product photographers were consulted to showcase the products in the best possible way, and to ensure that there was a consistency across all items, and the online shop was integrated into the main charity website, to help make the relationship between the shop and the charity clearer and to provide greater flexibility and functionality.
The charity hopes to increase sales even further this year and have broadened their range to include gifts suitable for the entire family. Including gifts for children specially designed to develop their creativity and imagination and a number of natural bathing products for both men and women, designed to be kind to the environment while providing a luxurious bathing experience.
