The sixth Freeze Festival takes place from 27 November to 1 December 2013. 500 tonnes of real snow and a 32-metre high/100-metre long kicker will allow a showcase of world-class skiing and snowboarding including the £12,000 prize Hail the Rail competition.
Among the DJs and live bands performing over the festival will be international headline acts including Madeon, DJ Fresh, Messy MC, Alunageorge, Idris Elba, MJ Cole, Clean Bandit, The Cuban Brothers and Maribou State.
And let's not forget the après ski: Alpine-themed bars and streetfood vendors will be serving up traditional fare such as bratwurst, crêpes, fondue, tartiflette and roasted chestnuts plus hot mulled wine and cider. There'll also be films, talks, a shopping village stocked with top snowsport brands and an adrenalin-pumping winter funfair.
