Miami Beach, Fla., -- /EPR NETWORK/ -- Gourmandize.com has launched a new recipe contest in search of the best recipes with chocolate. An unlimited number of recipes can be submitted to the competition, per person until Dec. 20, 2013. The winning recipe author will receive a new espresso maker worth $200. The second prize recipe will receive a 2 lb. box of See's chocolates, while third place will be awarded the cookbook, Chocolate: A Love Story by Max Brenner. The contest is currently open to participants 18 years of age and older, who reside in the US or Canada. Gourmandize and its international team will choose the winning recipes on originality and photo quality (if applicable).

We thought chocolate would be the perfect ingredient for this contest, because the holiday season is a time of indulgence. Stephanie McIntosh, International manager stated. We are excited to see the creative ways chocolate will be incorporated into all the entries!

Gourmandize has hosted several recipe contests since the website's launch this past summer. In addition to monthly recipe competitions, Gourmandize has also given away hundreds of free cookbooks as holiday gifts to members. The cookbook-publishing site continues to offer the first custom cookbook to each first time user for free until Dec. 31, 2013.
