2022February 05, 2014 -- /EPR NETWORK/ -- Dallas designer Jessica Faith Marshall started on her path as a fashion designer at the age of 5 years old drawing fashion figures, and by age 8, she was sewing and designing her own clothes. It was no surprise to those who've watched her grow up that she would sell her first collection at the age of 12 and be a featured designer on the Driskill Hotel's glamorous runways during Austin Fashion Week.
As the founder and designer of Faith by Jessica, it often comes as a surprise to many that she would design a luxury contemporary brand for women, instead of trendy styles for girls her own age. But, when one meets Jessica, it's very hard to imagine that she is only 14 years old. Wise beyond her years, she spent the last several months preparing her collection to debut at New York Fashion Week.
Marshall will showcase twenty-five looks at the launch of her "FAITH Contemporary" collection at PLITZS New York Fashion Week. She's been documenting her journey in a behind-the-scenes series on FashionMingle.net, offering advice as a seasoned veteran of the fashion industry on topics such as pattern-making, manufacturing, and managing Look Book photo shoots.
