Kenosha, WI, June 18, 2014 -- /EPR NETWORK/ -- Free Summer Program, “Hands On” Exhibit for Kids: Whadda Ya Know Wednesdays is a summer program designed to teach kids all about dinosaurs. Each week from 1:00-4:00pm (June 25 - August 20, 2014) a different theme is featured with stories, crafts and games to help kids learn about the world of paleontology.

One of three Museums in the area separated by a free Trolley car ride, settled on the bank of the Great Lake Michigan, the Dinosaur Discovery Museum in Kenosha, Wisconsin is the only museum to exclusively focus on the link between meat-eating dinosaurs and birds, and has one of the most complete known fossil records. In association with the Carthage Institute of Paleontology (CIP) and the Institute’s on-site laboratory, the Museum presents current, ongoing research in the study of dinosaurs. The Museum collaborates with the CIP in research, field work, and education programs. This includes the collection and preservation of dinosaur specimens for its research collections.

Join us this summer to learn about your favorite dinosaurs! Programs include spotlights on dinosaurs in the gallery like Stan, the T rex, the Carthage Institute of Paleontology lab, and what it’s like to be a paleontologist. Check it out on Wednesdays, June 25 – August 20, 2014; 1pm-4pm.
