2022Originating in Memphis, TN by an inspired grandparent with his grandsons, William Bell, Boys2Business concentrates on four main principles: reading, writing, respect, and revenue creation. Mr. Bell firmly believes that by applying these principles for at-risk young teen men, their lives can be turned around - they can cease to be at-risk and start to be successful. Each young man who makes these life changes in turn helps other young men to make similar changes - success becomes addictive and each success leads to another and another until whole communities are changed for the better.
The Reading principle includes good books and discussion that helps teach analytical and critical thinking skills. The Writing principle takes short assignments linked to their reading and helps to enhance the ability to communicate in a written format which builds creativity. The Respect principle teaches these young men to respect themselves, authority figures, the opposite sex, adults and to be models of that respect for others. The Revenue Creation principle helps these young men to learn how to creatively take risks with regard to business opportunities - taking an idea and make it profitable. William Bell stated, "I've seen this program first hand and noted the resulting life-changing improvements made in the lives of high school teens and college students. Attitudes about school became more positive, grades improved, goals were set higher and their self-confidence skyrocketed."
This project helps develop life purpose in these young men. They learn to set goals and take charge of their own development. They learn to be responsible for their own future. And this mentorship program helps to reduce crime and it lifts young men up so the learn to aim higher in life. These young men will become mentors themselves, and influence their family and peers.

Contributions will help build on the success already achieved and grow a program that actually makes a difference in real lives. By raising the $7500 needed, Boys2Business can become a non-profit organization, rent office space, create marketing materials, and purchase equipment for life enrichment including production of training materials and DVDs.
