Gateway Awarded TDK’s Prestigious Senten Manten Accolade

Munich, Germany, April 20, 2015 -- /EPR NETWORK/ -- Gateway Electronic Components, a UK distributor for TDK and EPCOS products, announced today that it has been named one of TDK’s top European distributors. Gateway was presented with the TDK Senten Manten Distribution Award in Silver for outstanding business performance in 2014 at TDK Europe’s distributors conference in Munich on 15 April.

Speaking at the awards ceremony, Keith Rogers, TDK Senior Manager Distribution Sales, UK Distribution, said, “TDK Europe are pleased to acknowledge the dedication and excellent service shown by Gateway to our mutual customers with this Silver award. It is thoroughly well deserved by the whole Gateway team.”

The awards are based on TDK’s Senten Manten distributor performance evaluation program. The Japanese term Senten Manten means “perfect result”. It is awarded to a distributor when they accrue 1000 points according to TDK’s system of measuring distributors’ consistent business and operational performance against pre-set criteria in the areas of inventory management and contractual terms.
