With this initiative, the company pledges to match the Government First Home Owner Grant. This means that first home buyers who purchase their home from Orbit are eligible to receive $20,000: $10,000 from the Government and $10,000 from Orbit.

To access the grant, first home buyers go through a straight-forward, six-step process. The first step is an obligation-free finance assessment. The client meets with a financial consultant from Orbit Homes' financial partner, Loan Studio, to assess their financial situation and establish their budgeting needs.
Step two involves the exciting process of choosing a new home. The client meets with one of Orbit Homes' friendly, approachable sales consultants, to discuss which home best suits their lifestyle and/or block of land. If the client hasn't yet decided on land, Orbit Homes is happy to work with them, providing access to properties on numerous estates across Melbourne.
At the third step, the client makes decisions about styling their brand new home. This involves meeting with one of Orbit Homes' interior designers at the Orbit Homes Design Studio, where choices are made concerning colours, fixtures and finishes. The client need not worry at any part of the process - Orbit's interior designers offer full support, ensuring that design decisions are personal yet effective.
Step four involves signing the contract. At this stage, the client officially becomes a first home buyer and the double the grant initiative is executed. Orbit Homes immediately provides the client with $10,000 towards their new home. So this is the client's first major move towards home ownership.
At step five, construction commences, as soon as the client's loan has been formally approved and the land sale has been settled.
Finally, step six is marked by the completion of construction. At this point, the new home buyer is ready to move in.
