Prague, Czech Republic, April 18, 2015 -- /EPR NETWORK/ -- In commemoration of World Autism Awareness Day, Skrivanek participates this year in an international campaign called, “Light it up blue”. Committed to the purpose of improving the lives of those with autism, Skrivanek will spearhead and participate in ongoing support.

“This year we focus public attention on autism,” says An Stuyven, Skrivanek’s Global Marketing & Sales Manager, “not only by wearing blue clothing and publishing collective pictures of our 325 employees worldwide, but also by coloring all our email communication in blue.”

Traditionally, blue is a color representing communication and self-expression, essential human activities that are difficult for those with autism. While this can lead to loneliness, isolation, and dysfunction, autistic individuals are often highly talented as well. Skrivanek supports the Czech organization ProCit, which is dedicated to deepening understanding of this developmental disability.
