Thalisha and The Jettsonz, the Team Behind the Dynamic Duo Nina Sky, Introduce the World to a BRAND NEW Sound, “Reggaeton N’B.”

New York, NY, July 25, 2005 – In a bold move that is sure to create waves throughout the music world, 17-year-old singing sensation Thalisha has joined the hit making producers of Nina Sky’s Gold-selling “Move Ya Body” to bring the world a brand new sound called “Reggaeton N’B.” Reggaeton N’B is a fusion of R&B/Soul singing over the pulsating sound of Reggaeton influenced rhythms. The blending of the two sounds should help solidify the movement of the popular Latin-based Reggaeton music into
mainstream markets as “Reggaeton N’B” will be sang primarily in English. This new, cutting edge sound should fuel the career and give a new exciting identity to the budding star Thalisha as she has already been labeled “La Princesa of Reggaeton N’B.”

The first single from Thalisha and The Jettsonz is a remake of Mary J Blige’s classic “Real Love.” The Jettsonz could not have selected a better song for “La
Princesa” to introduce Reggaeton N’B than with the hit single that introduced the world to Hip Hop Soul and crowned Mary J. Blige as Queen of Hip Hop Soul. “There are a lot of similarities with Hip Hop Soul and Reggaeton N’B,” says Thalisha. “They both combined a popular new sound with a sound that has been around for years. Back then, the new sound was Hip Hop, now it’s Reggaeton.”

Elijah Wells of The Jettsonz first took notice of Thalisha when he saw her performing a remix to Ja-Rule’s hit record “New York, New York” on Mun2’s hit
television show “The Roof.” After an endorsement by one of the members of Nina Sky, who Thalisha had the privilege of opening for on a few occasions, Elijah decided to reach out to Thalisha to collaborate on a few records. That collaboration led to the birth of a new genre, Reggaeton N’B.

Her evolution to “La Princesa of Reggaeton N’B” is the latest of a string of successes for the Dominican diva from Washington Heights, NY. This month she
released the second installment to her mixtape series entitled “Welcome to The Heights” Vol. 2, mixed by one of Europe’s most popular DJs, DJ Ace. Earlier this
year, Thalisha opened for Hip Hop superstars Fat Joe and Jadakiss on separate occasions and had a string of performances in Zurich, Switzerland. With “Real Love” scheduled to heat up radio waves nationwide this summer, Thalisha will be performing throughout the United States promoting the record. She also has a return trip to Europe scheduled for early fall and will be in the studio recording songs for her debut album.
