--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Dear readers,

On May 12th, 2005, I was robbed and stabbed 7 times at Genting Highlands , Malaysia !

This life threatening incident happened at the outdoor car park of the Theme Park hotel owned by Resort World Berhad ("RWB"), a company within the famous Genting Group.

That this incident occurred at a famous destination for family vacations is not as surprising as RWB's refusal to even offer a simply apology. You can see from the attachments the facts relating to what happened on that fateful morning on May 12th, 2005.

You can also see the response, I should add, the only response from RWB by letter dated July 14th, 2005.

I leave you to judge the adequacy and appropriateness of RWB's reply. In my opinion, all that the reply amounts to is an admission by RWB that the incident that I related did happen but everything else appears to be now my fault, as though I have myself to blame for being robbed and stabbed. As I was unable to get a satisfactory response from RWB, I related my unfortunate experience to Malaysian local media and government with the hope that they will report about what happened to prevent similar incidents from happening in the future and also to investigate the truth about what had happened. After all, a serious crime was committed at the premise of RWB and the perpetrators must not go unpunished.

You can see from my attachments in particular my letter dated June 11th 2005 to RWB and the police report dated May 16th 2005, I have raised my complaints and dissatisfaction about what I perceive to be the inadequate security and medical facility at RWB. Their response is I believe self evidently inadequate.

I am utterly disappointed with the attitude of RWB. I am not here to make a mountain of a mole hill. I must implore you to bear in mind that the place where I was stabbed is a famous destination for Malaysian and foreign tourists. Many families bring their children for holidays at Genting Highlands. I would have expected better securities and medical facilities in case any untoward incident such as the one I experienced happened.

I have gone much pain and suffering since the incident. I must say that RWB's refusal to even offer an apology is much more hurtful than any stabbing wounds that I had. I believe that it is reasonable and decent to offer me an acknowledgement of responsibility and apology over what had happened. This is only fitting for a reputedly internationally classed vacation destination.

Therefore, I let you be the judge of whether I am entitled to an apology in international press.

Thank you to all the readers and if the press/media would like to interview me on this issue, don't hesitate to contact me personally at + 6019 - 380 9502.
