Spring/Summer 2008 -- She was the first Playboy Centerfold to
become a spokesmodel and advocate in the gay community, in addition
to being a notable self-made millionaire financial investor before
the age of 30, an author of 16 books and 3 calendars, a contributing
editor for over a dozen publications, a renowned international
psychic/astrologist, as well as the founder of GODDESSY.
Adams
was also known for being the subject of a highly publicized incident,
and soon after she filed a five million dollar lawsuit against
the City of New York, the commissioner of the New York City Taxi
& Limousine Commission permanently revoked the taxi driver's
TLC license and fined him as a result of his behavior when Adams
was a passenger. Several of the police officers who assaulted
Adams after she called, were identified by the Civilian Complaint
Review Board and thoroughly investigated by Internal Affairs.
"I
did not get to where I am in life by being weak and allowing others,
who are weak, try and 'break' me. These men are in fact powerless
cowards hiding behind an honorable badge and I will not stop until
justice has been served..." Her strength and courage
in life clearly showed by every decision she ever made, including
"coming out" for a few years to the gay community. However,
most of her life was spent as a heterosexual, so when she decided
to no longer entertain questions about her (homo/hetero) sexuality,
she did so privately, but made it clear publicly that she always
did and always would show love and support to the LGBT community.
So as elusive as she has become, what can actually be revealed
about her personal life now? Adams has been spending time with
one of the most important individuals in her life. One of her
two aunts who raised her died years ago from breast cancer, leaving
Adams and her other aunt severely devastated. Now Adams enjoys
as much of her time as possible with her other aunt, leaving the
remainder of her personal time towards focusing on her personal
future. "My cat, my father, and my aunt are my family.
Now I am ready to get married again and create more family for
us." Several years ago, Adams married and divorced an
Italian-American Investment Banker, who continued to refer to
her as the love of his life. As for her next husband? "I
refuse to kiss and tell about my love life now...but I'm sure
you'll read about me being a happy bride someday in the paper."
Adams
continues to remain an outspoken spokesmodel for Playboy, being
featured in and on numerous magazine covers as well as various
newspapers such as New York Post, Daily News, Newsday, etc. as
well as TV channels 2 (CBS), 4 (NBC), 5 (FOX), 7 (ABC), 9 (WOR)
11 (WPIX), NY 1 News, CNN, etc. and other media such as Entertainment
Tonight, The Late Show With David Letterman, Playboy TV, etc.
But thanks to dedicating most of her extensive modeling career
investing in Fortune 500 companies, her financial success enabled
her to pursue her passion for philanthropy, and
develop as much of a private life as she can possibly have.
