The dynasty trust is the most valuable piece in the estate plan because it can be
drafted under Nevada's special law to protect the family assets from estate taxes,
creditors and divorce for as many as 365 years. Mr. Oshins wrote the law and was
able to get it passed in Nevada's 2005 legislative session. It became effective as
of October 1, 2005. Prior to that date, Nevada had a law similar to most other
jurisdictions which allowed dynasty trusts to last for only approximately 100 to 120
years.

A person does not have to be a Nevada resident to establish a Nevada dynasty trust.
