launches its new series with professional Photographer
Chase Jarvis interviewed by Marc Silber. In this current
episode on www.SilberStudios.Tv
Jarvis discusses 5 tips for getting exceptional photographs, accompanied
by footage of him doing just that.
Marc
Silber is a professional photographer who conducts photography
workshops. He explained the purpose of his show, “my
goal is to help viewers get better photos by hearing directly
from some of the world’s best photographers. We ask to tell
their secrets for their great shots and show how it’s done.
We believe that each viewer can get better shots episode by episode.”
Chase
Jarvis is a top commercial photographer with an impressive
portfolio www.chasejarvis.com,
who is also intent upon helping other photographers with his blog
www.chasejarvis.com/blog.
Silber said he asked him to be a guest because of his obvious
ability to get exceptional work, but also because of his willingness
to share his know how.
A previous episode of Photo Show was shot in Yosemite with Ansel
Adams’ son Michael. Silber said that he chose him because
“Ansel is the ‘father’ of modern photography
who was also very generous with his teaching and books. We had
access to some of his unreleased footage including what Ansel
said was ‘the whole key to a great photograph’—that
was priceless.’”
Photo Show is set to roll out
regular shows with photographers such as Thomas Hawk, who has
the goal of publishing one million photos before he dies. This
upcoming episode shows him in action getting a stunning shot of
the Golden Gate Bridge at sunset.
