Choi, Engineering and Project Team leader in the Technology & Solutions Division, for her achievements as she is granted the National Women of Color Technology Leadership Award. The award was presented in Atlanta, Georgia on Saturday, October 30 at a gala event that culminated a weeklong conference celebrating Women of Color in technology careers.

“Cathy was nominated for this award because of her tremendous abilities. She is leading work in some of the most difficult and critical areas in the field of engineering and combustion modeling. Cathy's leadership has brought some excellent people into the Caterpillar Technical Center research organization to assist her team. She has also created a strong network outside Caterpillar to leverage combustion modeling strengths around the world,” said Kevin Bruch, Engine Research Manager, Technology & Solutions Division.

The National Women of Color Technology Awards Conference focuses on opening doors for women from multicultural communities, leveling the field in American industry.
