The Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra is one of the UK's most renowned classical ensembles, and this coming January will be playing a concert at Cheltenham Town Hall as a part of its countrywide tour.

The Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra has been in existence for more than a hundred years, having been founded in its original form the south coast town in 1893. Today the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra has moved on to its 13th Principal Conductor in the shape of Kirill Karabits, who has been leading the orchestra since 2007.

The Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra will be performing in Cheltenham Town Hall on January 26th 2012, and the concert is set to see classical fans from all over the country descend on the spa town in Gloucestershire. With that in mind, hotel room booking website DirectRooms.com advises visitors to Cheltenham to book hotel Bournemouth City Centre early to be sure of sourcing choice and availability.

Tickets for the concert start at just £5 and classical fans can look forward to performances of Weber's Oberon Overture, Dvorak's Cello Concerto in B Minor and Symphony No. 5 by Sibelius.

Lek Boonlert, marketing head of hotel room website DirectRooms.com, says, “The Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra enjoys a loyal following throughout the classical music world, and there will be big demand for the Cheltenham concert tickets and for hotel rooms close to the Town Hall venue. As such we advise advance booking of places to stay to be sure of getting a good deal and not being forced to stay a taxi ride away from the concert venue itself."
