The Big Draw is coming to London – and nationwide – throughout October, reports LondonTown.com

-- /EPR NETWORK/ -- The world's most extensive festival for drawing and participatory art is revving up to take place from October 1st 2012, reports LondonTown.com, the UK'S number one London website.

Organised by the Campaign for Drawing, The Big Draw is a festival with an international reach, that involves schools, galleries and community organisations globally. Last year 22 participating countries got involved; and this year over 1000 venues will take part.

The central hub for the festival in 2012, which takes place from 1st -31st October, will be The Wellcome Collection, located on Euston Road in central London. The Collection is unique in the UK for its well-funded fusion of science and the arts: it is an institution driven by the links between medicine and culture, the body and the mind.

London experts LondonTown.com are keen to help Londoners and visitors alike enjoy this exciting festival. For those travelling with kids, the website has many great tips for a hotel in London in the area surrounding the libraries, museums and galleries of Russell Square and the West End.

There is up to 47% off the Gower Street hotel The Academy Hotel London, which offers a Junior Suite for £163 pounds per night, accommodating two adults and two children from the 19th to the 21st of October – within easy walking distance of the Wellcome Collection.

Also on Gower Street is The Staunton Hotel London, located by LondonTown.com, which offers a Quad Room for £174 per night on the same weekend.
