December 05, 2012, 5:01 pm -- /EPR NETWORK/ -- Market leading budget coach provider, megabus.com, is giving customers an early Christmas present by slashing the price of thousands of tickets during December.
The low-cost operator - which is part of Stagecoach Group - is cutting the cost of seats on its coach networks across the UK throughout this month in a special promotion for passengers.
Discounted seats are available now and can be booked by visiting www.megabus.com.
So far, thousands of seats on megabus.com routes in Scotland, England and Wales have already been reduced in price. Further reductions across the UK megabus.com network will also be introduced to the travel sale throughout December, with tickets on all megabus.com routes benefiting from a price cut at some point this month.
megabus.com offers fares from just £1 (plus 50p booking fee) and operates to dozens of destinations across the UK, serving large cities as well as smaller towns, including Newcastle, Bristol, Manchester, Preston, London, Birmingham, Norwich, Swindon, Plymouth, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Inverness, Newport, Swansea and Pembroke Dock, from where passengers can travel by ferry to Rosslare in Ireland.
Additionally, megabus.com is offering free bus travel to customers, with more than 10,000 free seats on its coach networks in England and Wales being made available between 14 January and 28 February 2013

megabus.com was launched in the UK in 2003 and revolutionised coach travel by offering fares from just £1 (plus 50p booking fee) via a simple online booking system. Almost five million passengers now use megabus.com services in the UK every year, which operate to more than 60 locations across the country.
In 2006, Stagecoach launched megabus.com in North America where it has now been used by more than 22 million passengers and serves 120 locations.
