The sixth festival of its kind returns to the Southbank Centre in London this February

-- /EPR NETWORK/ -- London's Southbank Centre is the home of national film, with its established reputation for premiers, festivals, topical programmes and archiving at the British Film Institute and IMAX buildings.

And this year is no different, as the BFI continues its work supporting emerging and established film-makers alike. The 6th BFI Future Film Festival returns to the BFI Southbank this February with a long-weekend of workshops, masterclasses, networking opportunities, screenings and Q&As designed to inspire and develop your film knowledge and skills.

It's an ideal event for film-makers who are just starting out, or those who are looking for tips and ideas for making a big leap forward with their work. With panels and workshops and the chance to talk to industry professionals, it is a great chance to get a leg up in the world of cinema.

The festival is very aptly being held at London's BFI Southbank, formerly the National Film Theatre, and home to some of the city's most wide-reaching festivals and celebrations of cinema. It runs across the weekend of 16th – 18th February.

Also celebrating the event is LondonTown.com, whose website can source discounts and special offers on hotels in London for the Future Film Festival period.

The five star London Marriot County Hall has doubles from £225 during the festival, a discount of 52%. Or take advantage of 68% off at the equally luxurious ME London on The Strand where doubles are also available from £225. http://www.LondonTown.com
