Discounted London hotels available close to Hammersmith Apollo

-- /EPR NETWORK/ -- This Spring, the Hammersmith Apollo will vibrate with the sound of squeaking brothel creepers and uproarious laughter as madcap comic Harry Hill brings his unique perspective on the world to London's West End.

One of the most enduring and recognisable faces on British telly, Harry Hill manages to eschew much of his cuddly Saturday night persona during his live shows, delivering a strange, dark – if still technically family-friendly – performance to hardcore fans, as well as whoever they've managed to drag along to witness something truly unique.

The high collars and multiple pens are still there, but Sausage Time offers a more ambitious spectacle than in previous years. Backing band The Harrys are along for the ride, as is estranged son Gary. Other weird segments include a dedication to Tonga, a chance to find out about Nan's latest ailments, and of course a dour appearance from stolid companion Stouffer the Cat.

But it's the straight stand-up that keeps the critics happy. Hill is deft at flitting between different routines, a true master of the call-back. He switches between 'bits' in a remarkable, quickfire fashion that overcomes the essential contrivance of a stand-up staple. No mention has been made of the presence (or otherwise) of any sausages, but fans can find out come March 26 th , when Harry's sole Apollo show hits the stage at 8pm. Tickets cost around £30, and are available via HotelMap.com. The site has also announced details of discounted London hotels close to the theatre.

The Holiday Inn Express London Hammersmith is one of the hotels participating in the offer. Just 7 minutes' walk from the Apollo, the hotel is now giving a 49% discount to patrons who book through HotelMap. The reduced rate brings the cost of a night's stay down to just £86.

The Hilton London Olympia (around fifteen minutes' walk from the Apollo) is offering doubles at a 75% discount, making the cost of a night's stay just £68. Both deals are available exclusively through HotelMap. Both London hotels featured are only available at the discounted rate when booking through the site.
