Soho is treated to a new pizzeria this August

-- /EPR NETWORK/ -- Pizza Pilgrims James and Thom Elliot have made a name for themselves for serving excellent Napoli-style pizzas from the back of a Piaggio van. Now, the pizza loving boys open their first proper restaurant. Opening on 1 st August 2013, the London restaurant will be located on Dean Street in Soho, just around the corner from Berwick Street Market where you can often find them and their van.

The pilgrimage began when the brothers travelled to Italy, joined up with a TV crew, bought a van and toured the country with the aim of discovering the art of pizza making. Returning to the UK, they refused to part with their beloved van and instead converted it into a portable pizza oven. Now, they provide tantalising Napoli inspired street food at London's Berwick Street Market and popular food festivals. The varying simple menu consists of only two or three pizzas, with the classic margarita always available and further toppingsranging fromnduja sausage, Portobello mushroom and truffle oil.

The London restaurant will follow the same premise as the market stall, with a simple pizza-focussed menu but will also welcome an Italian drinks list. Initially the restaurant will be open Monday to Saturday, 12pm-11pm and closed on Sundays.
