Huntington Station, NY, -- /EPR NETWORK/ -- The Parisian Peel is a brand of medical microdermabrasion. It offers patients with sensitive skin an opportunity to have microdermabrasion without becoming irritated. The Parisian Peel is a quick, gentle skin renewal process that can treat superficial blemishes on your skin caused by aging or too much exposure to the sun.

Microdermabrasion is a unique treatment; it is not chemical, laser or surgical according to board certified plastic surgeon Charlotte Rhee. Instead, the Parisian Peel system gently polishes the surface of the skin to remove the rough top layer of cells and uncover the smoother, softer skin beneath. Patients have reported feeling no to minimal discomfort.

A typical Parisian Peel treatment takes approximately 15 to 20 minutes. According to Dr. Rhee a series optimal results usually require between 5 and 10 treatments. The treatments can be customized according to your needs and skin type.

Because Parisian Peel is so gentle, you can have as many treatments as you need without worrying about side effects.

The Parisian Peels can treat sun-damaged skin, fine lines and wrinkles, acne scars and other scars, enlarged or oily pores, blackheads and whiteheads, age spots, post-traumatic pigmentation, or just as a general exfoliant for younger, rejuvenated skin.
