Brand new latex-laden exhibition opens 26 Feb 2014

LONDON, -- /EPR NETWORK/ -- The award-winning British satirical puppet show is the subject of a brand new exhibition opening at London's Cartoon Museum this month. Celebrating the work of the classic TV show's creators Roger Law, Peter Fluck and John Lloyd, fans of Spitting Image will have the chance to get up close to the rubber-faced caricatures that savagely satirized the political world of the 80s and early 90s.

Cartoons, caricatures, puppets, teapots and other weird and wonderful ephemera will all be on display, including puppets of Margaret Thatcher, John Major, Richard Branson, Michael Jackson and the Royal Family. The exhibition celebrates the 30th anniversary of the programme and also includes pictures and pottery created by Fluck & Law, the geniuses behind the much-loved show.

London's Cartoon Museum is one of the most vibrant in the city. Combining a love of all things cartoony with a good dose of humour, it collects together everything from rare originals on loan from The Beano, The Dandy and Topper, to biting satirical caricatures and a uniquely British overview of the country's cartoon history.

The Spitting Image Exhibition opens on 26 th February and runs until 8 th June 2014. LondonTown.com has teamed up with hotels in the area to bring London hotel deals to visitors for the duration of the exhibition's run.
