LONDON, August 04, 2014 -- /EPR NETWORK/ -- Celebrating ten years of classic, cult and contemporary films, Summer Screen is once again back at Somerset House in association with Film4.

Arguably the most famous of all the open-air film events to take place in London, Summer Screen brings with it a diverse array of films, all showing on a state of the art screen with full surround sound.

The hand picked selection features films from lots of different genres including, dramas, romance, thrillers, musicals and cult classics. The programme starts with the UK premier of the French drama 'Two Days, One Night' starring Oscar winner Marion Cotillard and continues with Roman Polanski's 'Rosemary's Baby', a double bill of a 'Fistful of Dollars' and 'Mad Max 2', and the classic Marilyn Monroe film 'Gentlemen Prefer Blondes'.

A premier of the hotly tipped New Zealand vampire movie 'What We Do in the Shadows' closes the festival. But before that there are a fair few treats you don't want to miss including 'The Great Beauty' - the winner of this year's Oscar and BAFTA for Best Foreign Language Film. Woody Allen's classic existential comedy 'Annie Hall' and the highly anticipated documentary and UK premiere of '20,000 Days on Earth'

Each night Dj's will play in the courtyard before the film is shown. Beside the screen talks will provide special insight into the films with directors, actors and industry insiders giving talks to illuminate the programme.
