Naga City, Philippines, September 26, 2014 -- /EPR NETWORK/ -- Stellar Asia Pacific has responded to rising demands for high quality, low cost offshore solutions by opening a new Philippines site in Naga City, Camarines Sur.
The location for the new facility was selected because of the strength and availability of local talent, the supportive business environment and the untapped potential of the region. Naga has been named as a “next wave city” by the Information Technology and Business Process Association of the Philippines (IBPAP) for its propensity to accommodate BPO companies.
Angelito Cruz, Stellar’s Vice President for Human Resources, recently shared his impressions about the city’s talented residents: “I first encountered Naga’s talents three years ago. Their impressive work ethic definitely left a mark on me. So when we decided to put up our first provincial site in Naga, I was not surprised that we were able to fulfil our headcount requirements so easily.”
Stellar Country Manager, Scott Sim, echoed Cruz’s sentiments adding, “We intend to bring our brand of Open Book Management (OBM) as well as our culture of fun to Naga City. Year to date, I’m proud to say that we have already delivered P10 million in profit sharing incentives to our employees in Manila. We plan to implement the same kind of practice in Naga.”

The centre opened on 22nd September 2014 with a flagship Australian travel client.
