Techno Brain West Blue (TBWB) is proud to congratulate Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) for bagging two honours at Nigeria's NITDA-Nihilent e-Governance Awards. NCS was declared winner in the Best Web Portal Category and Runner-up in the Best MDA (Federal Ministries, Agencies and Departments) Category.

The Nigeria Trade Hub (NTH), which won in the Best Web Portal Category, is a trader's introduction to international trade in Nigeria. The portal provides importers/exporters, the correct information to enable them make decisions about doing business in Nigeria. NTH provides information about all the Nigerian Regulatory Agencies, their contact details, processes, documents, fees and processing times that an importer or exporter will need to liaise with to obtain the necessary import permits and certificates that are required to ensure compliance.

Other initiatives including the blueprint and roadmap for a single window environment, and the streamlining of Pre-Arrival Assessment Report (PAAR) system to facilitate trade were recognized, and awarded the Runner-up in the Best MDA (Federal Ministries, Agencies and Departments) Category.

Speaking after receiving the awards, Adewale Adeniyi the Public Relations Officer of Nigeria Customs, said "We are extremely proud to have won these two honours. Nihilent and NITDA work together in designing a comprehensive evaluation framework for the awards. The final results were arrived at after the assessment process was concluded following an exhaustive jury consultation process. The awards will be handed out during the 3-day e-Nigeria Conference between November 18 and 20.
