Selerity Technologies and the Research Institute for Chromatography Join Forces to Forge a Global Approach for Temperature Controlled HPLC

Press Release Body = Temperature Programmed Liquid Chromatography (TPLC) specialist, Selerity Technologies Inc announces a new affiliation with the Research Institute for Chromatography (RIC), effective June 2005. The affiliation will consist of a new manufacturing and marketing venture for the PolarathermTM total temperature controller. Selerity Technologies will unveil this new venture with RIC at the HPLC Symposium in Stockholm at booth #A01:33, where they are jointly exhibiting.

Under the terms of the new agreement, manufacture of the Polaratherm will relocate to Belgium. The combined global alliance will result in a new Belgian-based manufacturing centre of excellence for the Polaratherm, with RIC taking responsibility for sales and marketing in Europe and Asia and Selerity retaining the North American and Rest of World sales. RIC has been marketing and distributing the Polaratherm in Europe for Selerity since January 2004.

The immediate objectives of this affiliation are to produce Polaratherm in levels to meet growing customer demand. Polaratherm is successfully installed with leading pharmaceutical, food and beverage and nutraceutical customers. The new venture will
focus on increased production, more efficient manufacturing, improved quality assurance, extended global presence and support and increased technological expertise.
