Press Release Summary = Dublin has adopted Springboard’s electronic people counting
system throughout the City Centre, which includes the key streets of Grafton Street,
O’Connell Street and Henry Street-Mary Street.

to provide accurate and consistent monitoring of the effectiveness of its marketing,

Springboard identified that the number of visitors to Dublin increased by19% on St
Patrick’s Day compared with the same day in the previous week. Its monitoring has
also confirmed that Grafton Street is consistently the busiest location in the City
Centre - the total number of visitors typically exceeds 550,000 per week, increasing
to over 650,000 during St Patrick’s Day week.
