Press Release Summary = Operation Turkey has increased the number of volunteers and locations around the country that will be participating in the community support program.

Press Release Body = Operation Turkey was designed to promote community outreach during the Thanksgiving holiday. Every citizen of the United States can celebrate Thanksgiving. There are no racial, ethnic or gender restrictions or requirements. Operation Turkey organizes community distributions of food, clothes and blankets to
the homeless and less-fortunate.

Each year, millions of people do not get to have a meal during Thanksgiving. Nationally, it is diificult to address this issue, but locally we can take care of our respective communities to promote outreach and community involvement.

Providing food to the homeless and less fortunate is a difficult program to organize nationally. But handing out several dinners each year is very easy to start. In fact, you simply hand out one meal the first year.

This gets you comfortable with the process of helping your community. You will look forward to the next year when you can hand out two dinners and double the number of people you helped the previous year.

"The reason our program works is that it is local. This isn't backed by a large well-funded national entity," said Richard, Operation Turkey's creator, "We do not dilute the effectiveness of the program with donations. It is sponsored by you. We merely provide you with the tools and the knowledge that we have gained by handing out dinners ourselves."

Families:
Families are encouraged to participate in the Operation Turkey program. Each family member can help assemble dinners. This process takes very little effort but reaps huge rewards with the people in your community that are fed. The simple "Thank You"
that is offered in return for the dinner is more than enough to cover the effort to package and hand out the dinners.

Businesses:
A great program for businesses is the " Operation Turkey." No employee needs to be left out of the program. Each employee can contribute time, food or clothes. Then, on Thanksgiving, the employees can band together to hand out the food. This is a
great way to share in the community outreach with your colleagues.

Companies can also sponsor families who create our larger programs.
