JF Designs (www.jfdesigns.com) was proud to be selected to design the web site for the company. The project entailed a complete redesign of the company’s existing web site. An improved site navigation and user interface was constructed to better showcase the detailed wood carvings.

David Westberg uses a chainsaw to create art out of nature’s purest canvas – wood. By applying his sculpting talent to this niche focus, he is able to bring to life amazingly detailed works of art. Each of his bears are unique. The nature of wood allows for every piece to be an individual.

The site advertises that these bears are all up for “adoption”. Once you see these bears, you will understand why. They posses a character quality about them that is lovable. If they weren’t made out of wood you would want to hug them.

“We knew we needed to present these bears better”, says Westberg, “I am an artist, not a web designer. A business associate of mine who owns First Aid Supplies Online, and who is also a client of JF Designs, highly recommended the design company to me. My friend showed me how the traffic on his site www.firstaidsuppliesonline.com has now quadrupled after his new site went live. We are very pleased with the new Rainy Day Bears site. It really captures the essence of heart I strive for in my carvings. The site feels very warm and friendly .”

JF Designs took all new photography of the carvings and then used subtle nature colors with the photographs, to provide a warm and friendly ambience on the site, that is reflective of these exquisite wood sculptures.
