Press Release Body: Beaverton, Ore. - September 24, 2007 - The Watch Prince today announced that it will be hosting a one-of-a-kind Trunk & Trailer Show on Tuesday, November 6, 2007 from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at its Beaverton showroom. It will provide watch owners with an opportunity to view the latest in watch accessories, including high-end watch bands and automatic winders rarely stocked in retail stores.
Two premier brands will be headlining the event. Hadley-Roma, the highly-respected watch band company based in Largo, Florida, will be represented by Tim Phillips. Mr. Phillips will be displaying a "trunk" of their new and popular models including premium alligator watch bands that are designed as replacement straps for quality Swiss watches.
The star attraction will be the Orbita Watch Winder Road Show. The North Carolina-based company has decked out a 24-foot trailer (http://www.orbita.net/pages/19100.htm) to resemble a luxurious jewelry showroom. It features some of their finer automatic watch winders, including the Bergamo 40-watch, "disappearing" winder.
Doug Mortensen, The Watch Prince owner, is excited to host an event that he believes to be the first of its kind in the Portland area. "There is increasing ownership of fine Swiss watches. By combining the Hadley-Roma and Orbita displays, these watch owners will have a unique opportunity to view a wide variety of accessories at one location."
The Orbita Road Show display at The Watch Prince will be its only appearance in Oregon. Mortensen stated, "We are honored to be selected by Orbita as the only location selected for its road show between Seattle and Northern California."
In addition to the Hadley-Roma and Orbita displays, visitors to the Trunk & Trailer Show will be able to meet with other members of the watch industry, including Swiss-certified watchmaker David Jacobs of DJ Watchmaker. There will also be in-store specials and a drawing for a $400 watch box handcrafted by Mark Rehmar of O'Brien, Oregon.
Other highlights include a Beaverton Chamber of Commerce ribbon-cutting ceremony at 4:00 p.m., with hors d'oeuvres and wine served by Chef Tucker's Patisserie of SE Portland from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Everyone from serious watch collectors and avid watch enthusiasts to casual watch wearers can get excited about this free event showcasing a variety of watch accessories and services provided by local and national industry leaders. The Watch Prince Trunk & Trailer Show is not to be missed.
