Running between the wickets and the boundaries that were being hit were really a great sight for the spectators. The first wicket was lost in the fifth over and it was Maher who was caught off guard on 26 runs off 18 balls. Rayadu came and joined Razzaq and proved to be an equally good batsman as him. He scored 55 runs off 42 balls before he was dismissed in the eighteenth over. Razzaq remained unbeaten till the end and scored 78 runs off 57 balls which was a very good and happening innings. The final score of the team was 176 runs.
The batsmen of the Champs team however failed to perform well and could not match the skills that the rival team showed today. Both openers left the field soon. Jadhav was dismissed at 15 runs and Paul made just 3 runs. Patil and Morris however made a good score and settled in for a half century each. But this was not enough to get the win. Only one other player, Mandale could get 25 runs. All other batsmen miserably failed and could not cross the single digit mark. The team could manage 169 runs at the loss of 9 wickets in the 20 over match and lost it by mere 7 runs.
