INSIDE THE MUSIC BUSINESS
ANNOUNCES SYNDICATION OF WEEKLY RADIO SHOW

Inside the Music Business: the Weekly Radio Show with Eric Kline will be going into syndication this spring through IAR Networks (www.IarNetworks.com). The announcement made today by Eric Kline, host of the show and President of Inside the Music Business, Inc (www.InsideTheMusicBusiness.com).

“For the past several months, as the show has been on hiatus, I have been developing strategies to grow the brand – including securing syndication for the radio show,” said Kline. “I’m excited about working with IAR Networks to expand the reach of the
show, here and abroad.”

Inside the Music Business: the Weekly Radio Show with Eric Kline became the first show of its kind when it launched in October, 2003 on one AM station in Miami. It grew to have an Internet audience with listeners across the states and in Canada. The show gives listeners a rare opportunity to get inside the minds of those in the know – all the while breaking down the complex music business.

‘This show has no clichés, no tired questions about how to make it,’ says unsigned singer-songwriter Brian Franklin, ‘just serious and insightful talk about the legal, political, and artistic issues that we all face.’

Shows are topic-driven and feature industry power players (executives, songwriters, publishers, producers, video directors, artists and many others).

There are also several featured segments: The Top Ten Videos with Music Choice’s Director of Music Programming, Justin ‘Tyme’ Prager (formerly of MTV); The Legal Corner with attorney Steve Gordon; The Weekly News with The Music Dish Network’s
Editor-In-Chief, Eric De Fontenay; The Unsigned Artist Showcase featuring an interview and performance by an artist on the brink; and a new segment that will be unveiled this spring called The Mystery Guest, which will feature a top-level
recording artist.

“Inside the Music Business is a great resource for up to date industry issues and interviews,” says Linda Lorence, VP of Writer-Publisher Relations at SESAC, a leading performing rights organization, “If you're interested in the music business, this is a great show to tune into.”

The format of Inside the Music Business is talk with music interspersed between segments. Available music formats will be Pop/Rock, Urban and Country covering both major labels and independent and unsigned artists (there will be an all-Indie show as well).

‘Whether you are a musician, fan or industry professional, this show, along with host Eric Kline, takes an interesting and entertaining approach that makes for an exciting and informative show for everyone,’ says Chad LaGrone, VP of IAR Networks.

Stations will have the option of carrying their music genre of choice. Available show lengths will be: two-hour, one-hour and a series of vignettes. A college version is being discussed as well.

“Eric Kline and Inside the Music Business’ will be turning the industry on their ears by radically changing the way musicians approach, enter and ultimately succeed in the music business,” says unsigned singer/songwriter Jon Singer. ‘It’s reality radio.’

Previous Guests include: Emilio Estefan, Russell Simmons, Lou Pearlman, D-12, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Deborah Cox, DJ Premier, and Music critic/Author Dave Marsh, Al Teller, Producers, Radio Execs, A&R Execs, Video directors, Songwriters, Distributors, Execs from MTV, Launch.com, Garageband.com and many others.
