This music festival on the outskirts of Paris, held annually since 2003, has quickly built up a reputation that has allowed it to attract some of the world's biggest bands.

Over the years, artists such as R.E.M, Radiohead and Morrissey are just a handful of the big name acts that have delighted fans at Saint-Cloud. UK fans may know it best as the scene for the acrimonious split of Manchester band Oasis in 2009.

2011 sees the usual exciting line-up, with headline acts including Foo Fighters and Arctic Monkeys. There are plenty of other established acts too, such as Tinie Tempah, My Chemical Romance, Seasick Steve and Biffy Clyro, as well as a return for 80s legends The La's.

Held over the weekend August 26th-28th, Rock en Seine is a great experience for all involved, with opportunities for camping allowing visitors to really get into the festival.
