One of the most gruelling races in the world marathon calendar is this January set to attract visitors from all over the world to the Italian city of Naples. Hotels in Naples city centre can expect a busy time of it when runners, spectators and more head into town to enjoy the Napoli City Marathon.
The Napoli City Marathon is renowned for being one of the prettiest marathon routes around, since it takes in the city’s famous historic architecture and picturesque piazzas. The race is also known as a real physical test since it takes place in the winter putting an added strain on runners.
