LONDON, April 12, 2012, 9:07 am -- /EPR NETWORK/ -- Whitbread PLC is to open its brand new Premier Inn hotel in Leeds City Centre North on 9th April 2012. The property will contribute over £7.5 million to the local economy whilst creating 40 new jobs for Leeds residents.

The brand new 130 bedroom hotel is situated in Leeds City Centre North on Claypit Lane and is just a stone's throw from the Millennium Square, Leeds flagship project to mark the year 2000 which has become a focal point for events in the city centre. The square is bordered by many of the city's most famous landmarks, including the Town Hall, Leeds City Museum, Leeds Academy and Leeds College of Art.

The new hotel is ideal for travellers being located just over a mile from Leeds Railway station and perfectly situated near all the shopping plazas, restaurants and theatres this lively city has to offer. The hotel is also within a five mile radius to both Leeds Metropolitan University and the University of Leeds.
