Discounts on London Hotel Rooms Announced for Camden Fringe

As comedy festival returns for seventh year, LondonTown.com reveal cut room rates close to venues.

-- /EPR NETWORK/ -- For four weeks this summer, the Camden Fringe is bringing the usual combination of comedy, theatre, poetry and dance to North London. At least one hundred different shows will be performed 400 times across five venues in Camden.

The focus is on stand-up, but the festival is upholding it's tradition of novelty acts and bizarre turns, including rapping pensioners and some unusual takes on theatre classics. Another Camden Fringe tradition is low ticket prices, and this year is no different, with organizers sticking to an across the board cost of £7.50, whatever the show.

The festival started life in the Etcetera Theatre, and gradually picked up participants, punters and venues over the next seven years. It's now in firmly in the comedy festival big leagues, with big names like Simon Amstell playing in big name venues like the Roundhouse. Among the London hotel deals being offered via the LondonTown.com website is a night's stay at the Radisson Blu Edwardian Grafton Hotel for just £66 an 81% discount on the usual rate. The offer applies to double rooms. The Radisson is less than a five minute walk from Camden High Street.

Just as close is the Thistle Euston Hotel London, which is offering an 84% discount on a deluxe double room, bringing the nightly rate down to £76.
