Unfortunately, this has appeared to be an area that is largely neglected especially taking into account recent findings that 3 out of 4 people have not visited a dentist for consultation in over 2 years. Hence, we were able to find out that 95% of them really need a 24 hour emergency service in place as they found it tough to find someone to help them at 1am. Tooth aches and pains crop up at the most inconvenient times, and sometimes without warning. We decided we did not want to be like everybody else… unavailable when our patients need us the most.
