CPF to exhibit at Anuga 2017

CPF poised to debut diverse food portfolios containing more than 120 menus in the world leading food and beverage fair, Anuga 2017.

Cologne, Germany, 2017-Oct-10 — /EPR Network/ — Charoen Pokphand Foods (Plc) -CPF- is poised to debut diverse food portfolios containing more than 120 menus together with FoodFellas and Bellisio for the first time following the acquisition last year at the World’s most premier food exhibition Anuga 2017 to be held in Cologne, Germany.

Mr. Sukhawat Dansermsuk, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) – Food Business and Co-President said CPF has attended the Anuga Exhibition for the second time. For the 2017 edition, the main theme of the exhibition is “Lead the Way to Sustainability” demonstrating global unrivaled leader of safe food producer aiming at sustainable business with social and environmental responsibility and traceability through out the supply chain.

CPF has invested and expanded production footprint covering 16 countries and exported to 30 countries in five continents. The company so far has merged with top-notch food manufaturers in United States and United Kingdom and Belgium in European Union. The presence in those strategic markets are important for CPF to strengthen businesses and product distribution in US and EU without any trade issues.

Mr. Sukhawat said CPF proudly presents varieties of novel menus side by side with Bellisio Parent LLC, US’s based single serve frozen food producer and FoodFellas Ltd, UK’s based food service supplier and food ingredients and global food products importer. Each has its own brands and different customer groups.

Besides “CP” brand to be exhibited, Bellisio will also display various brand such as Michelina’s, EatingWell, So Right, Boston Market, Atkins, Snakmandoo, Chili’s and EAT. Further than that, FoodFellas will present its alliance brands, for example, Kepak Group, Big Jake’s, D Damhus, AvoGrande, ComidaLatina, Ovation, McCrum, Cheesecake, Pomone, and Shaws. The products comprise of frozen and ready to eat meals as well as poultry, pork, beef, lamb, pork rip through to condiments, seasonings and spices

“CPF as a world leader in food production will continue to move forward in developining innvovative food in responding to customers’ current and future preference especially food safety, traceability, social and environmental responsibility and sustainable production in line with CPF’s vision in becoming kitchen of the world,” said Mr. Sukhawat.

Last March, CPF poultry processing facilities have been certified and received QS certificate in compliance with Germany “Quality” and “Safety” standards which are the country’s most rigorous food safety assurance scheme. The QS mark is also commonly recognized in European Union. The QS mark means uncompromising quality, transparent and traceable production, assuring customers with safety and product integrity. Farm operation abides by good animal welfare practices and healthy animal production.
