Syd Entel Galleries to Host 10th Anniversary Art Show for People With Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities.

Clearwater, FL, 2018-Aug-15 — /EPR Network/ — On August 23, 2018 Safety Harbor art studio, Syd Entel Galleries, will host “Special Art by Special Hands,” a complimentary art exhibit featuring unique artwork by the local Harborside Studios artists. For ten years Syd Entel Galleries has taken down their prestige collection of fine art and glass to display the artwork from The Arc Tampa Bay’s art studio servicing those with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD). This event is open for all to celebrate the many talents of the artists; 100% of proceeds from art sales will benefit Harborside Studios artists along with providing art supplies for future projects.

Madison Orr Hauenstein, Executive Director of The Arc Tampa Bay Foundation stated, “August marks ten years of Syd Entel Galleries graciously opening their doors to show our neighbors the immense talents of our friends! These artists have the chance to shine during this evening, proudly showcasing their artistic talents. We cannot reiterate our thanks Syd Entel Galleries and our supportive community enough for ‘Achieving With Us’ for the past ten years.”

Guests will be greeted by the artists of the studio upon entering the gallery and served hors’ d’oeuvres graciously donated by Clear Sky Café along with wine donated by Sips Wine Bar and Syd Entel Galleries. Ellen Pope, event chair, says, “Seeing the community support this event and watching the turn out grow over the last ten years has been a remarkable site.”

Harborside Studios is an art studio and gallery for those served by The Arc Tampa Bay with I/DD. Located at 176 5^th Avenue North in Downtown Safety Harbor, the studio is open to the public Monday-Friday with operating hours of 9 a.m.- 4 p.m. Artwork displayed in the gallery is available for purchase, and 50% of every sale is paid directly to the artist.
