Glass Arts Collective Announces New Classes Technique – Sgraffito

Westlake Village, CA USA,2020-Jun-05 — /EPR Network/ — Glass Arts Collective announced the immediate availability of a new Fused Glass Class / Technique.

“Sgraffito (in Italian meaning “to scratch”) is an art form of scratching through a surface to create images, patterns and textures.  It has been used for years in ceramics. We are very excited to teach this technique utilizing enamels and fused glass,” said Nancy Marks, Owner at Glass Arts Collective.  We opened the studio at the beginning of Feb. 2020 to a very receptive community.  Offering glass art classes in Stained, Mosaic, Fused and Painting on Glass.

Positive Customer Impact

Many customers have enjoyed other fused glass techniques.  Glass Arts Collective is now offering a class in Sgraffito.  This technique provides artists another technique to create exceptional pieces of glass art.  Artists who enjoy painting will find this an easy transition into the world of glass.

During these difficult times of being closed and watching the world change right before our eyes, we have remained resilient and anticipate helping our community heal. Art is a therapeutic process to express feelings and helps open hearts to recovery.
