FileOn Signs Multi-Year Agreement with Norwalk Hospital (CT) to provide Real time Patient Care Information System

agreement with Norwalk Hospital to automate its paperwork processes.

“The FileOn eLibrary will enable Norwalk Hospital to reduce current costs and at the same time enhance patient care,” says Anowar Shahjahan, FileOn President. “The system will enable Doctors in different areas of the Hospital to simultaneously view
and consult on patient information in order to determine the proper treatment. This will speed up the current process of having the paperwork move with the patient at real-time.” Mr. Shahjahan adds, “All patient information at the Emergency Department is scanned, automatically routed into proper folders using FileOn HL7 Service, meta data is attached to scanned documents and files secured in a SAN data repository, in
a HIPAA compliant manner.”

directory based security and self-service user administration. The eLibrary is based on XML and .NET architecture.
